Alexander Lloyd is a passionate voice at the convergence of technology, art, and global advocacy. He currently sits on the board of the Human Rights Foundation (HRF) and Grey Area Foundation for the Arts. Whether hacking North Korea in his work with HRF or founding the San Francisco Media Arts Council during a 3-year tenure as the San Francisco Arts Commissioner, Alexander promotes technology and art as tools for social impact. Alexander is the Founder and Managing Partner of Accelerator Ventures where he focuses on mission-driven investment and growth strategies with companies like Sixup, Cornerstone on Demand, Zynga, Zappos, Rinse, Siftery, and more. He holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School. When Alexander isn’t challenging the role of tech in society, he’s a consciousness hacking enthusiast and regular meditation practitioner.
