Founder, Blurb; co-Founder Bossygrl
Since founding Blurb (self-publishing platform) in 2006, as CEO Eileen grew the business to 2M+ authors creating 4.5M book titles, with a global footprint that extends to more than 70 countries. Her current role as Blurb’s Executive Chairman enables her to focus on on her latest endeavor, Bossygrl.
Bossygrl is a new social community + platform that helps girls learn how to become entrepreneurs, by actually being one. Currently in closed beta, we enable girls and young women to create their companies, brands, products, and shops via our mobile app, all the while learning about the business of business, supported by the community of bossygrls and executive mentors.
Previously Eileen was CEO of two VC backed start-ups (Personify and Verb) in addition to her earlier career as VP/GM at Wall Data, plus marketing roles with Eastman Kodak all over the world.
And she is now a grape grower in Healdsburg!
