Marilou is a successful leader and startup veteran in the sports tech business, passionately building brands, processes, partnerships, revenue and shareholder value for innovative solutions. She is the President of North America – Soccer for the U.K. based STATSports, the global leader in on-field performance monitoring for top FIFA programs globally and in exclusive partnership with U.S. Soccer.
She is also the founder of Women in Sports Tech, a non-profit created in 2017 to drive growth opportunities for women throughout the sports tech landscape. Specific initiatives include WiST Fellowships for students, the Change the Ratio podcast series with female sports tech execs, a jobs portal in partnership with SportTechie and more.
She’s an inspirational coach and teammate, putting new businesses in new markets on the map with a competitor’s fire, as a 3:06 marathon runner and former University of North Carolina varsity athlete. She is the wife of a fire captain, mother of 2 daughters who played soccer for 22x national champion UNC and professionally in the NSWL and in Europe, 10 year youth soccer coach and referee, trail runner and dog lover.
