Executive Director, Rebuild Northbay Foundation
Jennifer Gray Thompson is the executive director of Rebuild Northbay Foundation. Jennifer is a life long resident of Sonoma Valley. She attended Santa Rosa Junior College and graduated from Dominican University with degrees in English and History. After teaching English for over a decade, Jennifer went on to earn a masters degree in Public Administration from University of Southern California's Price School of Public Policy. After working for Sonoma County Board of Supervisors for four years, she began her current position with Rebuild Northbay Foundation, a nonprofit organization born during our unprecedented firestorms of October 2017. Rebuild Northbay’s Board of Directors is comprised of top leaders in diverse sectors across the four affected counties: Lake, Mendocino, Napa and Sonoma. The organization is a “Third Responder” meaning designed to be most active 12 months to 10 years post-disaster. RBNF seeks to help our region rebuild better, safer, greener and faster through collaboration, convening and advocacy. We take on large scale projects to close gaps that directly affect the region and provide relief to fire survivors. Jennifer is honored to serve the community in this capacity. When she is not working, Jennifer spends time with her family and two rescue dogs.
