Karen has built an incredibly diverse career across many industries and geographies. She started at P&G understanding consumer needs and behaviors and found her way to Detroit where she was the youngest woman ever to become a General Manager running a division at General Motors and then a Vice President at Ford Motor Company. She was Chairman of the Board for an automotive telematics company in 2000 and is energized by the new Silicon Valley partnerships with Detroit creating the most exciting time in the industry since the Model T. As a board director for AutoNation, the largest automotive retailer in the country and Nauto, a Palo Alto based player in the autonomous driving future, Karen is focused on the consumer as well as the technology as we adopt unprecedented capabilities in our vehicles.
Karen lives in Silicon Valley and owns a zinfandel vineyard in Healdsburg, which produces award winning reserve wines.
