Director of Social Good, Facebook
Emily Dalton Smith is the director of Social Good product. In this role, Emily leads teams that build products, such as Crisis Response, Charitable Giving, Health and Mentorship, that help people come together to support each other in times of need. Previously, she led strategic partnerships for Social Good at Facebook, where her team worked with the world’s leading nonprofits to help raise funds and awareness for their organizations. Prior to joining Facebook, Emily was a senior program officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where she managed investments in personalized learning technologies, and a director and special assistant to the provost at Arizona State University. She sits on the advisory boards of the Adult Literacy X Prize and ThinkCERCA, and holds degrees from Arizona State University and the University at Buffalo.
